  15. Hello.  
  16. This is a slightly off-topic post but since the final product can
  17. be used together with Lightwave I hope it's not too off-topic... :)

  19. Does anyone know of any companies making PAL/NTSC <-> RGB,YCrCb
  20. decoder/encoder chips? I've found Brooktree's Bt8* and Philips SAA*
  21. so far.
  22. Anyone know what circuits the PVR, PAR, VLab or the Toaster uses? 
  23. (I suppose they have developed proprietary circuits, but I gotta ask! :)

  25. And another thing. What type of connectors are standard in the
  26. professional world of video? For composite\Y/C\YUV?

  28. (This is for a thesis project. We are going to make a basic
  29. audio/video editing system and are currently shopping for suitable
  30. components. So far we've decided on the Motorola DSP96002 as main CPU
  31. but haven't found any video encoder/decoders)

  33. Any pointers to other sources of information regarding video standards, 
  34. video formats etc is appreciated!
